About Little Jammers

Created in 2019, Little Jammers started at Seckman Music School in Kansas to fill a void in the rock band class offerings, which was not offered for the 4-7 age group. Since then, Little Jammers has grown and is currently taught at 4 music schools across Kansas, New Jersey, and Tennessee!

Little Jammers primarily focuses on Piano Keyboard, Guitar, Drums, and Singing. We recognize that these instruments are not only common in bands and ensembles, they are also popular instruments kids usually want to learn in lessons. With this ensemble of instruments, the Little Jammers Curriculum easily adjusts and adapts to your school environment and programming.

Meet Zachary Seckman

The curriculum is created and authored by Zachary Seckman. Zachary is the owner and lead instructor at Seckman Music School where Little Jammers first started. Aside from running the music school, Zach also composes music, authors methods books, and creates teaching aids for a variety of instruments under the ZS Music Publishing name.

Zachary comes from a family of amateur musicians which is what led him to pursue and earn a Bachelor of Music Education from Kansas State University. Growing up, he was involved in just about everything music in school including as many ensembles as possible, plays, dramas, and musicals! During his senior year of high school in 2011, Zach started teaching private lessons as a way to start learning to teach before going to college and has been teaching privately ever since.
